Are you sad to see Peggy go?

She's ordered just about everyone to get out of her pub at some point over the past 16 years but now it's Peggy's turn to quit the Queen Vic for good.

Yes, Walford's favourite landlady has pulled her final pint.

Peggy bowed out of 'EastEnders' after her beloved pub burned to the ground in a fire started by her crack addict son Phil.

Despite months of speculation that she would perish in the flames, Peggy's exit was less dramatic with the matriarch simply setting off to start life on her own away from her cherished family. And who can blame her?

It's fair to say she hasn't had the best of times in her 16 years on the Square, which have been marred by family strife, punch-ups with Pat, family strife, murder, family strife, cancer and yes, more family strife.

She also found time to marry twice - once to Frank Butcher (who ended up cheating on her with Pat) and then to Archie Mitchell (and look what happened to him!).

Life in Walford will never be the same again.

Take a look at some of our favourite Peggy moments and let us know if you're sad to see her go...
